david_86 As Wild Nothing, the multi-talented Jack Tatum works within an especially melancholy 80's aesthetic and with this album pushes himself towards a higher level of sophistication.
This is seriously one of the best albums I've heard in a very long time. Euphoric cinematic pop masterpiece! Favorite track: Wheel of Misfortune.

Jacob Salgado This record has helped me cope with a recent breakup. It's my favorite album atm but I'm still not sure if it's my favorite Wild Nothing album. I personally feel the lyrics are a little more straight forward on this album which is great. Anyway, this has been on repeat for me. Favorite track: Through Windows.

Vintage A nice addition to his catalog, not too much of a deviation, great progressive sound! Favorite track: Wheel of Misfortune.

Pierre Conrad I loved Life of Pause. This one is good too. Favorite track: Shallow Water.
Neil Zielinski

Neil Zielinski It's hard to pick a best song on this album. Really. I would describe the A side of the album as some of the best songs I have ever heard. I went with Wheel of Misfortune by a hair over Letting Go. That aside, the regular black record is way better pressed than the colored editions. Treble wobbles and the noise is terrible. Don't feel bad about not getting one. Favorite track: Wheel of Misfortune.

about

Although civilization’s transition into a cyborg world seems inevitable, there are still those who recognize the beauty and power of a human touch to complement the circumvention. Jack Tatum understands this balance, and through a decade making music as Wild Nothing he has learned to embrace both sides of that dynamic—but perhaps never as distinctly as on Indigo, the fourth Wild Nothing album. On one hand, it is a return to the fresh, transcendent sweep of his debut, 2010’s Gemini, and on the other, a culmination of heights reached, paths traveled, and lessons learned while creating the follow-ups, Nocturne and Life of Pause. Indigo finds Tatum at his most efficient, calculated, and confident—resulting in an artful blend of hi-fi humanity and technology that fires on all circuits and synapses.

about

Wild Nothing Blacksburg, Virginia

Ask Jack Tatum what ‘Wild Nothing’ means and he’ll answer: ‘a contradiction’. In 2010, 21 year old Tatum released one of the finest cult pop records of the summer whilst ensconced in his senior year of college in Blacksburg, VA, a small mid-atlantic town better known for producing football fans and engineers than musicians. Tatum lives in contradictions. ... more
