Zack Stewart Here we find Jack Tatum continuing his turn towards the retro and electronic, but mourn not, Nocturne lovers—there's still plenty here to love. The title track's synth lines and chorus have particularly been stuck in my head for months. Favorite track: Life of Pause.

Enzuigiri An entire month later and it's still a big part of my rotation. Amazing record all the way through with each song getting better and better as the album progresses. Can't wait to hear some of these when I see yall in a couple months! Favorite track: Adore.

Charlie Mayer Well, I just love Wild Nothing. Even though this release goes more towards the synthy-side, I forgive them for that. The synths have always been a major part of their allure, but this particular release has a lot more of it. Still, a great record even if not compared to Wild Nothing's previous releases! I just hope that this is not a harbinger of things to come from this band whom I love.. Favorite track: Love Underneath.

about

Wild Nothing Blacksburg, Virginia

Ask Jack Tatum what ‘Wild Nothing’ means and he’ll answer: ‘a contradiction’. In 2010, 21 year old Tatum released one of the finest cult pop records of the summer whilst ensconced in his senior year of college in Blacksburg, VA, a small mid-atlantic town better known for producing football fans and engineers than musicians. Tatum lives in contradictions. ... more
